Transportation Site Manager for Hardin County

HHWP Community Action Commission, a local non-profit is looking for a Site Manager for our Hardin County KATS Transportation Office.  The ideal candidate will coordinate services at HHWP CAC transportation sites in their designated county. This individual will also be responsible for the supervision and training of assigned drivers and scheduling/dispatchers at the site. Manage on-site vehicle fleet and coordinate all necessary vehicle maintenance with the operations manager. Ensure fund source compliance requirements are kept up to date. Assist with driving, dispatching/scheduling, and administrative duties as assigned. Maintain on-call status for after-hour emergencies as assigned.

Overall RequirementMust be sensitive to the needs of low-income individuals and able to work with individuals of all cultural backgrounds and ages. Must adhere to the values of the HHWP CAC including Advocacy, Professionalism, and Partnership. Must be committed to the Agency’s mission to reduce the conditions of poverty by providing comprehensive services to improve lives.        

Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Ability to obtain ODOT Reasonable Suspicion and ODOT Accident Investigation certifications within 6 months.

Minimum Experience: One (1) year supervisory experience and one (1) year experience driving a motor vehicle for service, preferably within a transportation program operated under ODOT guidelines. Must obtain Train the Trainer Certification, per funding source guidelines, within two (2) years of hire. Must have experience interviewing and on-boarding candidates. Must be able to demonstrate data entry and keyboarding skills.

Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, maintain state minimum amount of automobile liability insurance as well as the ability to meet and maintain all funding source requirements.
