Classroom Aides
JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
HHWP Community Action Commission, a local non-profit, is looking for part-time Classroom Aides within our Head Start Preschool program at our Findlay and Kenton locations.
The ideal candidate would assist the Lead and Assistant Teachers with developing, coordinating, and maintaining a comprehensive education program at the classroom level in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards, Child Care Licensing, and Agency policies and procedures. Classroom aides work 28 hours weekly, Monday through Thursday with occasional Fridays as needed. The hourly rate is $13.26.

Minimum Requirements and Application Process
Overall Requirement: Must be sensitive to the needs of low-income individuals and able to work with individuals of all cultural backgrounds and ages. Must adhere to the values of the HHWP CAC including Advocacy, Professionalism, and Partnership. Must be committed to the Agency’s mission to reduce the conditions of poverty by providing comprehensive services to improve lives.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum Experience: One year working within a preschool facility.
Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, maintain state minimum amount of automobile liability insurance as well as the ability to meet and maintain all funding source requirements. Must be able to lift 75 pounds occasionally.
