WIC can:
- Improve nutrition and dietary intake
- Improve pregnancy outcomes
- Reduce incidence of low birth weight and infant mortality
- Provide infants and children with a healthy start in life
HOW:
- Nutrition
education- Breastfeeding education and support
- Supplemental, highly nutritious foods
- Referral to prenatal and pediatric healthcare
- Referral to maternal and child health and human service programs
WIC health professionals are knowledgeable and care about the health of your family. They are happy to work with you in achieving the best health for your family. WIC touches many communities throughout Ohio and is in partnership with over 1,380 retail vendors. These vendors include chain supermarkets, convenience stores, and grocery stores, and accept WIC coupons in exchange for authorized foods.

HOW TO APPLY:
-Call or stop by the clinic to make
an appointment
You can also apply by clicking on "http://jfs.ohio.gov/OHP/consumers/Application.stm" and complete a Combined Programs Application and mailing it to the WIC Clinic in your area. Please note that you must schedule an appointment at the Clinic too.
